Hi, I’m Sylvie
My Journey - A lived experience
I was born in London, a city that shaped my early ambitions and energy. Years later, I swapped the fast pace for the wild beauty of Cornwall, where I spent 25 years building a life — running two successful businesses, becoming a mother, and navigating the many roles life handed me.
On the outside, things looked great. I had the career, the family, the drive. But underneath, the pressure was quietly building. Eventually, the constant stress caught up with me — and my body let me know, in no uncertain terms, that it was time to stop. I reached a turning point: continue down a path that was slowly wearing me down, or choose myself — my health, my peace, my healing.
I chose me!
That decision led me to the French Alps, where the mountains offered not just a change of scenery, but a chance to breathe again. To slow down. To reconnect.
Now, I help others do what I had to learn to do myself: listen to their bodies, honour their needs, and create space for real transformation — from the inside out.

A contemporary approach to Classical Pilates, blending traditional principles with modern exercise science. Developed by physical therapists and movement professionals, it emphasizes neutral spine alignment, strength, flexibility, and efficient movement to reduce strain and improve posture. Suitable for rehabilitation, injury prevention, prenatal clients, athletes, and all fitness levels.
Yoga Somatics
This powerful blend focuses on embodied awareness, inviting you to move with intention and feel your body from the inside out. We use the ancient framework of Yoga for mindful movement and breath, coupled with the slow, precise techniques of Somatics to release chronic tension and calm your nervous system. The result is deeper self-connection and greater movement fluidity.

Elemental Life is shaped by Sylvie's long-term study in sports science, biomechanics and movement-based disciplines, alongside years of practical teaching and personal exploration.
This foundation allows the work to be thoughtful, adaptable and grounded in how bodies actually function — not trends, quick fixes or one-size-fits-all approaches.
